I use 4 of the same apps as Kevin Rose:
- AVG Antivirus
- Firefox
- Picasa (probably my favorite)
- SmartFTP
I would include these apps in my favs:
- iTunes
- Trillian
- ZoneAlarm
I may need to check out these:
- GIMP (Ben, you use this over Fireworks or PS?)
- WebCEO (Dan, what do you use this for?)

Think of WebCEO (bear in mind the following is a gross over-generalization) as a Web site management tool for the search engines. Rather than look at server logs for each site, you can just fire up WebCEO and check for yourself how your sites are faring in the search engines.
