It&#039;s worth pointing out that the same technique can also be used for the middle column of a 3 column layout (which also leaves the possibility of the side columns being absent without needing to change the CSS at all).</description>

It&#039;s also fairly easy to insert word-break elements &lt;wbr/&gt; into long strings using regular expressions and either javascript or server-side code.</description>
